Rookie bird on cooking

I pretended to cook a dinner last night for myself as I got rarely leisure time, but ended in failure. My cooking technology is so bad that the dishes could be described as hard to swallow, all my efforts turned to be down the drain. It makes me a little disappoint to myself for that cooking might be the basic skill for a woman, but I can’t handle it. I make my decision to be a good cooker, the first step, I choose watching cooking tv program like Good Eats DVD which tend to focus on familiar dishes that can easily be made at home so that I can grasp the advantages of different kinds of cooking equipment and the basic skills for cooking. I’m ashamed as a rookie bird on cooking, make so many mistakes on cooking which lead to permanent impression of an incompetent woman. In limit cooking programs, Good Eats Seasons 1-2 DVD is the only one tends to introduce the science and technique behind the cooking, the history of different foods which attract me so much. I must fall in love with cooking before I fully grasp the skills of cooking.
