Desperate Housewives DVD is not a stranger to sensational season finales. Last season's closer featured the culmination of crazy/creepy Dave's (Neil McDonough) plan, albeit spoiled by a last minute crisis of conscience. Before that, there was the five-year jump and another creepy guy: Katherine's (Dana Delaney) ex Wayne (Gary Cole) who wreaked havoc and held her and Bree (Marcia Cross) hostage.
Desperate Housewives DVD set creator Marc Cherry, reports EW, is toying with the idea of blowing up a house in the finale. There is a Plan B, but that is still under wraps. After all, there had already been a plane crash this season, and that sort of blew up/ran over Santa's house. Prior to that, there was the club fire and the tornado.
Elsewhere, Eva Longoria Parker says she is an "anti-Hollywood actress" because she prefers staying out of the limelight.
'I find myself the same way. I'm probably the anti-Hollywood actress," she says. "But you do have to be tough-skinned when it comes to the crazies that make claims about you.'
Her hubby NBA star Tony Parker is "the anti-athlete," she adds, since he doesn't wear bling or drive a "crazy car."
"He's just pretty low-key, private and shy," she says of the 35-year-old.
Even best friends Victoria "Posh" Spice and actress Kate Beckinsale are "boring," she says.
"We all three are not big drinkers," Gaby's alter-ego says. "Kate, Vicky and I are very, very boring people, we love to stay in each other's home. We either go to Victoria's house, or my house and we kind of just stay in.
It might be hard to imagine it, but the three sound crazy about game nights. "We play different games and it's a lot of fun," Eva says.
Desperate Housewives DVD boxset returns April 18 on ABC.
