The muscle pad design certainlyMizuno MX-1000 Irons seemed to increase the feel and forgiveness to the extent that they seemed to play like a half cavity iron. The mid to short irons in particular were great to hit and provided exceptional feedback. However don’t expect to see too many Mizuno MP-68 irons in the shops as they are available as a custom order only with Mizuno’s excellent custom fitting service that includes a new shaft optimsier system to determine the rightMizuno MP-53 Irons shaft flex for you.

For the last several years pre release Mizuno head only sets have popped up far before the official release date. They look perfect to the untrained eye but when put on the scale the head weights are off and the Mizuno MX-200 Ironshosel size often appears to be over or undersized. This has been the unfortunate case for many of Mizuno's MP models in recent years but its a consistent pattern. Right now there are sets on ebay and in certain forums of possible fakes.

The Mizuno MP-68 was a joy to hit with a fantastic feel and an excellent penetrating flight. The classic looks are everything you would expect in a Mizuno blade iron and whilst everyone will appreciate this, you will need to be a better player to get the most from these irons.Mizuno JPX 800 XD Irons
