| NBC's rocky start to the 2009-10 TV season isn't getting much better: 30 Rock's premiere was down 22 percent in overall viewers from the last season's debut. MacGyver Seasons 1-7 dvd30 Rock, despite winning its third consecutive Emmy for best comedy series last month, pulled in only 6.3 million viewers, considerably less than its lead-in, The Office (8.1 million viewers). Community was flat with 5.1 million viewers and Parks and Recreation dipped a bit to 4.7 million viewers. Ghost Whisperer Seasons 1-4 dvdCBS, anchored by CSI (15.1 million viewers) and The Mentalist (14.4 million viewers), was the most-watched network of the night, but ABC won the night among the adult 18-to-49 demographic for the fourth Thursday in a row. Grey's Anatomy (13.6 million viewers) was the top show of the night in the demo, and Private Practice (10.4 million) outperformed The Mentalist among key audiences. FlashForward (9.1 million viewers) stayed competitive against CBS' Survivor (11.9 million viewers). Doctor Who seasons dvdBones (9.1 million viewers) was down a bit and Fringe (6 million viewers) was flat. The Vampire Diaries (3.9 million viewers) posted its best numbers since its record-setting premiere, while Supernatural improved by 200,000 viewers to a total of 2.6 million. dvdscollection | |
