| We have petland here to as well as a privetly run pet shop. You would expect the privetly own shop to be more expensive, but it isn't Petland's prices on animals are usually double what the other store has. Petland doesn't sell mice here. I asked if they sold PET mice and the employee told me they have frozen mice. I couldn't hold myslef back and told her "Frozen mice don't make good pets!" So my only choice is the other petshop. I try to go in when they arrive from the supplier and then try to pick out the ones that look good. I prefer aquariums with mesh lids and plastic sterilite bins with mesh added to the lid. I had the habitrail cage with all the tubes when we had gerbils and it was a pain to clean, it kept falling apart(I think the cats where sitting on it...) and those gerbils could chew!!!! | |
