Olazabal could head for the US Tour

Benson and golf course equipment Hedges International Open winner and Two times Masters Champion José Maria Olazábal is planning to join the PGA Tour because he feels he's treated as a second-rate golf player on the European circuit.

"To be a player without a name in Europe, Callaway x24 hot irons and Callaway x-22 tour irons we would rather be a figure in the United States," his manager, Sergio Gomez, was quoted as saying in the Madrid daily El Pais.

Sweden's Jesper Parnevik, who plays primarily in America and Spain's Sergio Garcia protested publicly and the European Tour negotiated with them.
