'Chuck' faces life without the Intersect

The last episode of "Chuck" featured the revelation of this season's big villain, sure. But equally important, it also left Chuck

(Zachary Levi) without the Intersect in his head -- so what is he without it?

"I think it brings up a whole host of issues we're interested in exploring," co-creator Chris Fedak tells Zap2it. "Is he still a

spy without the Intersect? Is he still a hero without it? ... And has Chuck learned enough spy skills over the past couple of

seasons to get him along in the spy world?"

Monday's (Nov. 15) episode, "Chuck vs. the Fear of Death," starts to address that question. Chuck, who after all lost the

Intersect thanks to his own mother, is suffering a crisis of confidence and wants to get it back no matter what.
