This is one of my boys cages, the cage looks small because Coal is standing on his chew toy. This is a 20l sterilite bin, I cut out most of the lid and hotglue in wire mesh

This is one of my nursery tanks, it's the larger sterilte bin

This was the play tank, it's planted with grass now for extra fun and food for the rabbit

I have tried just about everything for bedding, here's what I use now
Boys: hemp bedding with a layer of timothy hay, this is the best for stinky boys.
Girls: I use kiln dried spruce(kiln drying removes the harmful oils in wood)
The play tank was yesterdays news cat litter, which is recycled newspaper. I used it for a while in the tanks, but really didn't like the way it smelled. The spruce has no smell at all, and it keeps the tanks smelling good.

Try your farm supply stores for kiln dried spruce or pine, you can get a huge bag for $5. I get the spruce from a localy run store, and UFA sells the pine.
