Criminal Minds Questions

I just watched an episode of Criminal Minds dvd box setcalled damaged and the ending scene of the episode left me with an impression....... the Criminal Minds dvd box setscene goes from hotch in his office signing the divorce papers his wife sent him, the camera pans out the window to the bull pen, it then focuses on prentiss (she was the only other member of the team in the bull pen) and frames her and hotch together.

I don't know it just seemed a little suss......am I reading too much into Criminal Minds dvd box set? I can hope right?!
